A Thousand Times More

"And may the LORD, the God of your ancestors, multiply you a thousand times more and bless you as he promised!" (Deuteronomy 1:11 NLT )

Mr. William Gates Snr in New Delhi working for the
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
A Seattle, Washington based lawyer and philanthropist, Mr. William Hill Gates Snr. does not look like a poor man at all. But being the father of the richest man on earth means your wealthy son would be much more famous. In other words, God chose the Gates family, multiplied and increased it. And then, at some point, decided to make them "A Thousand Times More" through a son. I searched for information on the personal net-worth of Mr. Gates Snr. but could not find anything on the internet. With due respect, it seems he is not even a millionaire. But his son, the global icon, Microsoft co-founder and numero uno world philanthropist, Bill Gates has exemplified the divine plan to increase God's chosen people, "A Thousand Times More". Mr. Gates Snr became the first CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and as the work of the foundation has expanded year after year, he now co-chairs the board of the foundation. (There is more on the foundation later in this blog).

One of the is least talked about PROMISES OF GOD for His people is found in Deuteronomy 1:10-11. I call these verses, The "A Thousand Times More Blessing". Pay attention to what Moses first declared in verse 10, that the people of Israel had been multiplied already. Yet, he prayed in verse 11 that they would be exponentially increased as they stepped into the Promised Land. As you hear this or are reading, get ready for your own "A Thousand Times More" in Jesus name.

Some years ago, a family decided to donate a vehicle to a church ministry. They went on to repair anything that could reduce the value of the car, put new tires, did some body work with new paints, and tuned up the engine before dropping off the car at the church office. The family head who dropped off the car reported that as soon as he was walking out of the church building he heard the voice of the Holy Spirit prophetically say to him, "As long as you live, you will never lack a car to drive." Years after the incidence, he said he could not count how many cars his family  has owned on account of the prophecy. I declare to you by prophecy that good things will never cease in your family.

Can it happen to you?
Let's read verse 11 again in the NIV Bible: "May the LORD, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and bless you as He has promised."

Moses the leader of Israel from the time of the exodus from Egypt was careful to align his prayer and wish for the generations of people after him to GOD'S PROMISE because he knew they're inviolable. Hebrews 6:18 (NLT) assures us that: "So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us." As you hope in the promises of God, be strong in faith that they will come to pass.

Why you need the 1,000 Times More encounter:

Joseph - The Prince of Prosterity
At the end of his saga with his brothers, Joseph said, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people." (Genesis 50:20). God is going to bless you so you can be a blessing to a large number of people, from your family and community to the entire human race.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a good example of this story. Through its work around the world, many children, and adults alike, have been saved from early death and are given the opportunity to live a fulfilling life. You are on line to save a life tomorrow as God blesses you a thousand times more. I encourage you to visit the Foundation's website and see how lives are being saved all over the world. Permit me to join the story of the foundation with Mr. Warren Buffet, a perennial top three richest person in the world for many years.

Mr. Warren Buffett, business magnate, investor
and philanthropist
For those who don't know, Mr. Warren Edward Buffett, born August 30, 1930, is an American business magnateinvestor and philanthropist. He is the most successful investor of the 20th century. Buffett is the chairman, CEO and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, and consistently ranked among the world's wealthiest people. He was ranked as the world's wealthiest person in 2008 and as the third wealthiest in 2015. In 2012 Time named Buffett one of the world's most influential people.
Buffett is often referred to as the "Wizard of Omaha" or "Oracle of Omaha," or the "Sage of Omaha," and is noted for his adherence to value investing and for his personal frugality despite his immense wealth. Buffett is a notable philanthropist, having pledged to give away 99 percent of his fortune to philanthropic causes, primarily via the Gates Foundation.

Buffett displayed an interest in business and investing at a young age. One of his first business ventures, Buffett sold chewing gum, Coca-Colabottles, or weekly magazines door to door. He worked in his grandfather's grocery store. While still in high school, he made money delivering newspapers, selling golf balls and stamps, and detailing cars, among other means. On his first income tax return in 1944, Buffett took a $35 deduction for the use of his bicycle and watch on his paper route. In 1945, as a high school sophomore, Buffett and a friend spent $25 to purchase a used pinball machine, which they placed in the local barber shop. Within months, they owned several machines in 3 different barber shops across Omaha. The business was sold later in the year for $1,200 to a war veteran.

At the age of 15, Warren made more than $175 monthly delivering Washington Post newspapers. In high school, he invested in a business owned by his father and bought a 40-acre farm worked by a tenant farmer. He bought the land when he was 14 years old with $1,200 of his savings. By the time he finished college, Buffett had accumulated a princely sum of more than $90,000 in savings measured in 2009 dollars.

In 2006 he made American history by making the largest ever charitable donation by an individual – $37bn to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Mr. Bill and Mrs. Melinda Gates at work in Africa
Mr. Warren Buffet has been making good of his pledge to The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as the foundation has received annual endowment as follows: $1.6 billion from the first installment of the gift recorded August 24, 2006, the second installment of $1.76 billion recorded on July 11, 2007, the third installment of $1.8 billion recorded on July 1, 2008, the fourth installment of $1.25 billion recorded on July 1, 2009, the fifth installment of $1.6 billion recorded on July 1, 2010, the sixth installment of $1.5 billion recorded on July 7, 2011, the seventh installment of $1.5 billion recorded on July 6, 2012, the eighth installment of $2.0 billion recorded on July 8, 2013, the ninth installment of $2.1 billion recorded on July 14, 2014, and tenth installment of $2.15 billion on July 6, 2015. (The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Fact Sheets).

In 2008 he was ranked by Forbes as the richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of approximately US$62 billion. In 2009, after donating billions of dollars to charity, Buffett was ranked as the second richest man in the United States with a net worth of US$37 billion with only Bill Gates ranked higher than Buffett. His net worth had risen to $58.5 billion as of September 2013. As of June 2015, courtesy of Forbes, he is back at No. 3 World Richest at $72.7 billion (http://www.forbes.com/billionaires/list/)

Do you see what I am trying to show here? In 2008, he was worth $62 billion. After donating most of it, he took a dive to $37 billion in 2009. By 2013, he went back up in net-worth to $58.5 billion and in 2015, he has regained everything he gave away and much more. And he is still going to get even richer A Thousand Times More...

How can I experience The Thousand Times More Blessing?

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever." (2 Corinthians 9:8-9, KJV)

God wants to prosper you A Thousand Times More but for a specific reason - so that you can be a conduit for distributing to those who are needy. There are poor people every where in the world but are you a vessel for channeling God's abundance in your hands to them? I therefore state the following 7 points you can adopt to enjoy the "A Thousand Times More" increase:

1. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, Matthew 6:33
2. Remember the Lord your God. He is the source of all the wealth and He has covenanted to prosper those who remember Him as such, Deuteronomy 8:18
3. Be generous to good causes and towards others: Proverbs 11:24-25
4. Giving to the poor: Proverbs 19:17 - "Whoever is kind to the poor is lending to the LORD— the benefit of his gift will return to him in abundance." (ISV)
5. Work and work hard, "The hand of the lazy leads to poverty but handwork makes rich, Proverbs 10:4. There is no way you can tap into the "A Thousand Times More" blessing of God is you are lazy
6. SPEAK THE WORD, Joshua 1:8. God has made His word in our hearts and mouths a potent force for bringing increase. So, constantly speak the word of increase upon your life and heritage.
7. Ask God for a vision of your life and pursue your dream. There is still room for visionaries in the world. Facebook, the phenomenon of this generation was launched in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, only 11 years ago. Amazon, arguably the world's No. 1 online retail store was founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos. Mr Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba the Chinese e-Commerce company, started his own in 1999. If you start yours now, in 11, 15, 20 years, you too will be in the list of contemporary news makers. Go for it.
